Dani Bochner, age 25, was born and raised in New Jersey and is currently Living in New York City. As a dancer since the age of 3, Dani started taking voice lessons and singing in shows produced by her dance school. As she got older, she became more serious about her singing, and started writing lyrics that came to her during the day. As an avid lover of the acoustic guitar, she picked up the instrument in high school. After learning to play, she went back to her notebook bursting with lyrics, and put music to her words. From this moment on, the songwriting came naturally to her.

As a member of the Syracuse University Dance Team in College, Dani tried to find as much time as possible to devote to her music. It wasn't until her senior year in college that she found enough time to really focus more on her passion. Her songwriting began to flourish when she wrote and performed a song for her sister's wedding in 2008. After an overwhelmingly positive response, Dani became even more devoted to her music. She started playing in coffee shops and charity events in New Jersey, and then started playing shows all over New York City. Some of the venues she has performed in are The Bitter End, The hiro Ballroom, The National Underground, Uncle Mike's, and Desmond's Tavern. She perfoms solo and duo acoustic shows, as well as full band shows with extremely talented and professional musicians. This variety shows off the many sides to her music.

Dani recorded her first professional demo CD with Black & Gray Music in Long Island, New York. The demo, “Open Book,” consists of all original material which can now be purchased on iTunes. Her music takes you through a journey of her life, as she puts it all out there as an open book for her fans to read. When you listen to her music, you will know what she has gone through in her own life, and you will be able to connect and relate to it.
